Anyhoo, I went through the endless chain of mail in my inbox and put up some fan submissions. There are still some awards/layout reviews I need to take care of. I realize some of my affies had closed down (including Valley of Nightmares ;_; ), so I removed them from the list.
I'm happy to announce that affiliation is now open! =D Also, I'd like to introduce a new category: Junior Affiliates. Go see the affy page for details.
What next? I'm not sure, really. I'm thinking about removing the gaming pages. I really don't think Eonlight Valley is the type of site for game guides that sites completely devoted to the games would provide. However, I'm opening up the option of perhaps letting visitors submit their own reviews and special writings on the games. That would be cool, ne~?
The forums have a new skin! It's also been converted to Zetaboards. Feel free to join if you haven't already! We need more active members. I'm also thinking about giving changes to the forum to be more than just a post-and-talk type of thing. Contribute your opinions~

{ New Photoshop Tutorials }
Posted by Kronakitty on 2008-07-29 10:27:40 PDTYay! I made two new Photoshop Tutorials. x3; Haven't updated them in a while. Feel free to check them out! I also updated some of the Web help pages... although some of you might've noticed already.
So... what next. Currently I'm studying PHP, and I know how to do some basic things already. I coded a guestbook, but it probably isn't secure so I'm not using it. XD; I hope to bring some improvements to EonQuests -- and make a new section for it as soon as I have ideas.
Also, a few of you may remember that Pokemon theme song/karaoke event that I mentioned quite a while ago. I wish to start it sometime in August; it would be really helpful if you could leave a comment about it.

{ New Coding }
Posted by Kronakitty on 2008-07-17 07:31:26 PDTEonlight Valley has been using table layouts for a couple of years now, so I thought it was about to time to give DIV a try. ;3 The entire layout coding has been changed. It took three days to perfect it. x_X;
Although this means that the layouts we had before are "lost", I'm modifying them a little to fit the new code. Currently, I've got Lazuli Airline Style switched over. If you want to change the style, just use our new PHP styleswitcher. I realize the old styleswitcher had some problems, so it shouldn't be a problem anymore.
After this, I plan to edit some pages, starting from the Websites section. Don't expect too much brand new content, but I will be adding new things and improving upon the existing contents. (updated pages will be indicated by this: 
)
Enjoy the new layout! I went for the simple yet elegant look this time. ^_~ Comments are appreciated.

Regarding future updates, one of the things I'd like to do is rewrite some existing pages, as I've mentioned before. However, are there any specific pages that you'd like to see redone or edited? If you have any suggestions, I'd love it if you'd comment! ^^

Today I bring you some updates. Next week is exams and then I'm out for summer! I'm hoping to start the Pokemon singing contest sometime after that, since I got some good comments about it the last time I mentioned it. If you have an opinion, just post a comment~
Currently, I'm in the process of designing a new layout/style. It will feature Eevee and a couple of other Pokemon ^.~
I also realize there are some layout review requests and award requests that I haven't answered yet. I'll try to reply to them soon!

Posted by Kronakitty on 2008-05-13 14:43:36 PDTHiya~ Just to let you guys know, I've updated the news system to FusionNews. Thanks for the suggestion in the Cbox, LilRed! I believe it'll be more secure than CuteNews, and the Admin CP seems to be much better. :3 So, feel free to get used to the new commenting~ It's not very much different.
Sadly though, the old news are all deleted.
On the note of new content, I probably won't make any major updates for the rest of May and early June. SOL testing and exams are coming up, so I gotta prepare. ^^ But expect some sort of update(s) in between!
