Making a favicon is not hard at all.

First of all, choose a small pic of whatever image you want. It's best if its under 50x50.

Now, go to this site. Upload your favicon, click "Create Icon", and it'll generate one for you. Then all you have to do is download the .ico file.

Upload the file to your main directory (directory with all your webfiles), and insert the following code inbetween the HEAD tags of your HTML document.

Change YOURFAVICON.ico to your favicon filename. It's simple if you just keep it "favicon.ico" or something.
