Glossy Gradient Effect
In this tutorial, I will teach you how to get a glossy gradient effect that looks similar to the below in some easy steps.
Step One: Open a new Photoshop file of whatever size you want. I used 150x50 just for an example.
Step Two: Click on the gradient tool.

Step Three: Set the gradient colors to whatever you want. I used a teal-ish green fading to a lighter green.

Step Four: Fill up your canvas space with the gradient, so it now looks something like this. Everything so far is all on one layer, Layer 1.

Step Five: Now, with the Select tool, select the top half of the gradient.

Step Six: Keep it selected, and Create a New Layer.

Step Seven: On the new layer, use the Paint Bucket tool to fill the selected area with WHITE. The white should be on the new layer while the gradient is on the first.

Step Eight: Now you can deselect it. The last step is to simply lower the opacity of the second layer, aka the layer you have the white on.

You're done! The end result should look like this:

You can now incorporate the idea into different shapes and create some great designs! :3
